Thank You, Frank, and for your service too. I managed to grind away for 13 years before my frame just gave up. I worked as a toolmaker and machine design engineer until about a year ago when a massive layoff came up and I involuntarily volunteered to go so some of the guys that still have kids could stay. I had a "plan B" in the fact that I was getting 90% from the VA as some backup income. I went ahead and bit the bullet and applied for full disability through the VA and Social Security and got both in less than a year. My body likes not working but my mind does not. I'm only 52 so I always hoped I had a while to go. So now I have plenty of time to straighten out bent push rods and tinker around until I get whupped then find that old chair in the garage and pet the cat. Maybe I'll figure out a way to put that spare slant in that 46 Studebaker pickup too! Well, gotta take the truckster to it's new home and get that forklift! Cheers! Terry |

Just a quick update.......no more valve/pushrod problems as of lately, got the forklift home and used ugly to get it up the hill. Had to claw, scratch and scramble but it finally got over the hump. I really need to get that weight put back into the tail end of it. Thanks guys, I had forgotten all about that ATF in the oil! T |
