young buck not to discourage you, but if your keeping the slant in your F-body your gonna spend some $$$$$ getting it into the 14's NA, I have a '79 Plymouth Volare, your Aspens cuter cousin, you can swap drive train parts between FMJ body cars, lets see if i remember this right '86-89 Diplomats/ 5th avenues, '76-79 Chrysler Cordoba's and LeBaron's obviously '76-80 Plymouth Volare's/ Dodge Aspen's. Performance wise if your going with junkyard parts, my personal option :D if your yard has a nice older selection and prices are right look for 360/318 V8 cars, for sure grip 8 1/4" rear ends,BUT REMEMBER if you swap to a 8 1/4" rear grab the drive shaft too if its not bent, i am pretty sure the 8 1/4 is a few inches longer, rear sway bars, thicker front sway bars, if its a cop optioned diplomat it will have all those things plus heavy duty front torsion bars, engine oil cooler heavy duty radiator that i believe is a drop in. me personally in my '79 Volare, i have a gutted interior , clifford 4bbl, 2" aluminium carb spacer, Holley 600cfm Vac sec, 904 trans, shortened drive shaft, 8 1/4" 2.96 sure grip rear, rear sway bar (both from a '78 LeBaron and for only $60 or so ;) ) but remember if you find a sure grip rear or any 8 1/4" rear make sure to pop the diff cover off and check for metal shavings, a large concentration of metal goo, and axle play,

i plan on going turbo, shaker223 did a sick set up for his turbo baby, but to do it on the cheap you need to have welding skills and a welder, heavy guage J tube and straight pipe, some 3/16th to 1/4" strip/plate stock to help support the turbo, and a little imagination and a "doodle pad" to sketch out you ideas before you make a single cut or your first weld i promise you, you will thank yourself later, also make sure you have more than you need on supplies, nothing sucks more than getting 3/4 the way into a project and realizing your not going to have enough to finish it. i will post a sketch later to give you a visual of my concept on how to mount a turbo in a F-body,

-Mike
