The quality of the resto and your great photo record of it make it likely that someone could make a good article out of it. But after being here, most would seem like a step backward...

PS I'm partial to a black interior.

Well, thanks.

And sorry to dissapoint you, the final product (interior) wont be black... its 95F all year long here... even in early March... it was 90F today :) I mean seats and doorcards, but the dash is/will be black.

Not factory I know, but I think it will look cleaner this way (relays etc. hidden inside the glovebox)

Wow im so jealous of your wiring and engine bay. Its so clean!!! Looks great. I need to get some of that plastic wire tubing stuff too. Mine originally came with this thin electrical tape like stuff on the wires and it was brittle so i pulled it off so now i have a messy engine bay with zip tied wires all over the place. lol

Looks great. Maybe you can update us on the relays into the wiring harness. Wiring is like going to the dentist for me. I avoid at all costs but still end up doing it.

Thanks for a great thread

What a BEAUTIFUL car! Man, that would be fun to be working on, especially having the time and money to go through it like that. Really, really sharp!

Here it is as of last Saturday night - I have the carburetor soaking now with a carb kit in the mail (hopefully to get here before the weekend!) and I have a master cylinder, 4 wheel cylinders, 4 brake hoses and a full set of brake shoes sitting in my office from RockAuto.com that got in this morning. I am chomping at the bit to get to work on it!
