I had to do this with the dart in the sig line to get my intermediate pipes bent up 10 years ago - Go right past the POlice to get to the miffler shop.

Just keep your foot out of it and go no more then 1/4 throttle - I will just sound like a blown muffler.

Have liscense, insurance, and reg. ready to go before the police man gets to the window and be respectful.. I have gotten out of many a possible ticket this way.

Fully mufflered, well small but they're both there, twice pipes all the way back starting at Clifford shortys.I've always believed cars/trucks/motorcycles cann't be to loud but you need to be fully aware of your surroundings when going from 'my mufflers are wore out' to 'dang that's what I'm taking about'.

There's nothing quite like the sound of open headers...

I've driven both mine with no exhaust to the muffler shop one town over. In the truck (V8 with open headers) I had a cop pass me the other direction on the main drag in town. Then another one behind me - at a red light no less. Lastly was going past the Sheriff's office at the bottom of a big hill...

The manager at the muffler shop said she's had cops follow customers in before, but never had anyone get written up.

I say do what you have to do, but then again I push my luck with things like this...

Thanks for all the input, going to take it over beginning of next week, hasn't moved in so long the brakes had to pop free. But can somebody give me the round about angles of the bends in the pipe from the flange to tranny crossmember for the later model a body dart, want to try to build it to spec, thanks in advance -seth
