The dart lost it's heater and radio (neither of which worked) and running just the base of the air cleaner went 16.12@86.54.

I may see if a buddy of mine will weld the spider gears in the 7.25 and see how that goes. The folks at the local recycle center were nice enough to let me on their scales. 2780lbs. Not sure how much fuel is in it.

Having done a fair amount of racing(dirt track & motorcycle road racing), I tend to agree.

The Rat ran pretty well for it's first race. Best run was 9.22 @ 74.72 MPH. I will take it up to Paradise in Calhoun, GA Friday night if it doesn't rain.

I've run at both. A few years ago, I stopped at Paradise on the way home from the slant six race at Knoxville.

After seeing the picture of that '52 ramp truck hauling one Valiant and pulling another, I tend to think there aren't many tracks on the eastern side of the country that you haven't raced at. Serious stuff! :D

9.21 equates to about a 14.50 in the 1/4. Not bad indeed. :mrgreen:
