Where is it you are ordering these alternators from? Most of the "100% New!" ones you see advertised at parts stores are in fact Chinese copycat garbage.

I found.... (or thought I found) a brand new nippondenso on theautopartsshop.com They had one listed "brand new" so I ordered it, but when it arrived they substituted it with a made in taiwan version with the wrong pulley on it, 165 amps, and much larger than the Denso unit. I will be sending it back monday. Do you know of a good supplier to buy a new nippondenso alternator from? I really don't want this to happen again, and our local auto parts store doesn't have the nippondenso alternator.
