I stopped counting at $5000 but I know it was a lot more. I have done a lot chrome work and polishing etc, motor on it's own with out manifolds carb etc I don't no. I did all the work accept machine work. I guess living in Australia will make cost a lot more due to freight costs.

I suppose so. I have similar plans for my Slant Six. I have a Clifford Hyper Pack as well. I've got some full length Hooker Headers I need to modify first to get it all to fit, then make a few mods to the intake plenum (adding a splitter) and purchase the FAST Ez-EFI unit and I should have something I can use for touring around town with all the good looks of a vintage race motor.

That Hyper PAck Slant sound really nasty!!! Congratulations on your build-up!!!! If you have some dyno info please post it!!!
