I spent the other day out at the shop getting some things organized, set-up, and cleaning the yard (picking up trash, raking, & mowing).
I was also able to get some wrench time in on the Duster.
I swapped out the broken original grille for a nice grille that I already had removed out of a Duster I parted out a while back,
Swapped out the front market lights for some nice ones I removed from the 1990 Dodge Ramcharger plow truck,
Installed the MSD coil,
Installed new Monroe front shocks,
Straitened out the bend in the center of the front bumper & pushed both ends back out to where they should be,
Rebuilt the fuel cap to a better than new appearance/functionality,
Removed the front & rear bumper safety guards,
Removed the side moulding,
Removed the trailer hitch,
Removed the spare tire & jack assembly,
tightened up the valve cover bolts,
Wiped the residual dirt/salt residue off the body, ...
Combined with all the other work I got done out there it was a very successful day.
Since I modified my Shop Vac with the new 6.5 horsepower / 12 Amp motor, I trimmed the original sticker off.
I have since found a new home for it.
