That is your problem. Stop using Google and use the correct reference material, specifically the factory service manual for your car, or the appropriate manual in the link I provided.

Looking at the float levels in the BBS manual in the link I provided reveals that the float levels fall in the range of 7/32 to 5/16, with the majority being 7/32, 1/4, or 9/32. For now, I would ballpark your float at 1/4 inch and see if your problems improve. Later, you can get the specific list number of your carb and set the float to the exact correct X/32 measurement.

Dude…c'mon. You have to put some effort into it. If you refuse to use the information that is put directly in front of your face (Reed's link), then pretty soon people are going to stop wanting to help you.

im sorry that i have been missing the float level spec... everythign that i have read in that article, in 2 different areas states "set to manufactures specifications" no number, if its somewhere hidden im sorry. i do see a few pages that are 100x smaller then the others that are readable. if i zoom in on those its impossible to read. so if thats just me, and its hidden in there. im sorry. i read that bbs article almost 10 times, and did not see any #spec.

and i am putting in alot of effort, i need this car running so i can finish moving. my home is sold under a short sale, waiting for escrow to close. id love to just drive it to my new place.

i can get the car to idle, eventually, most of the time it takes a bit when its cold. when its warm and idling, it has a slight stumble to it. i cannot put it into gear, or it basicly kills it, some times instantly, sometimes it runs really rough, doesnt mater if its in reverse or 1/2/drive. at a certain point when it gets fairly hot, it starts to stumble more and just die, reving it will keep it alive, but then it will eventually die back down at idle.

also giving it gas makes it almost die, then will rev back up. it squirts a good stream, but the stream hits the venturi or what ever you would call it that splits the barrel into 2 halfs. which is something i have never seen on another carb, i always see the stream shoot straight down into the manifold.
