and I put the motor on the 83 D-150 back together last spring,, I am sure that if the oil pick up tube had a dent in it, I would have noticed,, and I don't remember seeing anything like that...so probably Chrysler either changed suppliers along the way or maybe there was a potential clearance issue and the dent was added as a corrective action... |
