Getting a 904 rebuilt in Pakistan is probably next to impossible.

What were they thinking by bypassing the trans cooler?!?

If it slips even when cold, it is ruined. The rear clutch pack is engaged in all forward gears, but not in reverse, and is probly the item that failed.
you are absoutly right it slips even in cold. Thanks for the tip . Mechanic are asking is there any other transmission which are similer to 904 so we can use the parts or atleast understand this tansmission?

I don't see any restrictions that would prevent sending a Transmission master kit to Pakistan. Shipping would be horrid, but other than that, there's no reason it couldn't be done. I looked it up with the state department, and it looks like there may be some import costs due to domestic auto manufacturers.
A remote transmission oil cooler would work fine. You could likely source a transmission cooler locally.
Are there any restrictions regarding shipping such a kit? Maybe Dan has an answer.

Dear CJ thanks . I have check with the locak agents only issue is if you buy complete engine or car . I dont think there will be any problem for importing kits.

the main porblem is buying all the money which is going to USA from Pakistan its having lots of restriction and long aproval process. thets why non of the online shop excepet Pak Cradit card.

and as you said Mr. Dan probably have answer  looks like Dan is busy in other stuff..

Looks like ~ $160 Fedex from here in the Western United States for a kit that will run around $120 US. Depending on who sources it for you, you likely can get a better deal.

You may be ahead to have somebody in Australia get you a kit. Should be closer, and may be cheaper for shipping.

I guess that's a good cue for me to chime in! I'm happy to ask the post office here in Australia about shipping, I think it should be no problem, but, I think it would be a good idea to strip and inspect the trans to see what other damage has occurred and get everything in one shipment. There would also be the issue of a converter rebuild, shipping a new one would be a killer. IF you can get the converter rebuilt over there and find a guy to strip and inspect your trans then I'm happy to help with postage from Australia if I can... Also buy a book on the overhaul of torqueflite trans, I'm sure most trans specialists could take on the job with that info...

The shipping is 160. That doesn't include the price of the kit.
