Yes, it's designed for the early cars - I have the usual A904 three speed push button without park. I had the parking brake on the transmission removed and installed an E-body 8.75 rear end. Still trying to fine-tune the e-brake. Here is my car at a car show in Langley, BC in September '12.

Has anyone tried one of these truck starters out yet? I may have need for one of them soon. Advance has them for about $130

Ok, I ordered one of these and I have a motor lying on the floor. I will mount a Belhousing and the Hyper pak rear manifold and see if it fits! I'll let you all know for $5 each!!!  I will get a picture posted early next week.

Thanks to Dan for the heads up on this.

Cool ride! Nice album too. I enjoyed it all. My favorite, if you have to have one, was the old Studebaker. Styling was about 50 years ahead of its time. I wonder if it was a Raymond Lowey design?

I wonder how that would look on a low starter bellhousig and if the 10 tooth gear can be replaced with a 9 tooth gear easily...

Lookin' good Rick!

Seems like good clearance, Rick, that will be a nice setup!

Now all we have to do is a visit to the local Mopar parts dealer to get a starter and a set of those fabulous HP manifolds... :?

I dug out two flywheels, one 10 1/2" V-8 and one slant 6. I held the new super mini starter up to the teeth to check the mesh and it looks fine. I ran it around the flywheel by hand just to be sure it should work. There you have it!
