I believe it was $280 for the basic set. I think I paid $320 shipped for heavy duty version. My 74 Swinger is 3300 pounds with me and a full tank and it has a super heavy hitch under it and I asked for the extra heavy leafs.
They delivered some great springs. That was back in 2000. They still ride great today with no hint of sag or weakening. The ride feels perky but not stiff.

You really get what you pay for......my car is a blast to drive and handles great with out a rear sway bar. I do run a big sway bar on the front though and Edelbrock shocks with the stiffer Twister 360 V8 torsion bars.

I got my aluminum strut rods from ESPO . They are easy to deal with, and they also said they could set the springs to any amount of arch, when I asked about leaf springs at the time. It sounds like they are competitive price-wise with General Spring.

I have the oval track leafs on my '72 Swinger, but I've never driven the car! :? I'm working on it though. They have 4 thick leaves rather than 5 or 6 thinner leaves. Pushing the axle 1/2" rearward was actually helpful for me as I have an 8" Ford rear end under the car. The springs and rear axle were both budget minded decisions.

The folks at ESPO are really helpful. I asked for an additional spring after ordering the basic set and they actually sent them free just to keep me happy. I dealt right with the owner. I didn't have them change the arch since that effects ride height, just a thicker set of leafs with a little thicker one for the right side to offset torque.

I installed poly bushings in the stock rear shackles and they point straight up and down. I do have 1" spacers to move them forward, but never installed them.

With a full tank and all our suitcases, cooler, etc, in the trunk, it rides very smooth but crisp. I had to go to KYB shocks in the back for a better ride. The Edlebrocks brought the ride height up a good inch and road a little too stiff for my wife. It felt like we were in a road course car. I think the "A" body rear Edelbrocks were meant for a "B" body. They have a much bigger diameter and ride accordingly.

I must mention the tire wear is very even front and back. I was going through tires every 2 to 3 years. Now after 3 or 4 years they still show even wear with lots of rubber left. I do rotate them at 5,000 miles and sipe them for extra traction and longer wear.
