Yes! This car was built as a 4 speed,but was later changed to a 727.
When Grotheer won the Winter Nationals in '69,it was an auto.
When we restored it,we changed it back to a 4 speed.

good day for a swap meet,,saw lots of stuff...talked with Mike H and got the Baracuda SS history from one of the guys that helped bring it back,, awesome car

after the meet went back to the house and had a pitch in dinner, provided by the local guys,, and then spent the afternoon talking about our slant six project cars,, that currently none of us have in running - driving condition

was fun

Had a great time! Causually looked around and saw almost nothing slant related! Big D had the lead on an Offy intake that we never found. Met D's new lady friend Mary who is very nice and likes the car stuff!

The menu was sloppy joe's (food network recipe-killer good), baked black beans, slaw, brownies, etc.

Dadtruck showed us the project D-150 - perfect - talk about attention to detail!

Andy's GT showed us pics of a recent welding class he and his girlfriend attended. It was a valentines gift from his girlfriend! How cool!

Big D showed us several hundred pics of a pick-up truck he may buy. Seems the owner drove it home tried to work on the silly thing and then it would not run anymore. Don't think the owner was too concerned because he had 14 other projects to choose from after the truck lost his interest. The guy must need some Ritalin.

P.S. Tried to encourage Andy's GT to keep working on the beard. It is quite an accomplishment. Billy Gibbons watch out! Also learned alot about Big D. He drinks hot chocolate outta fancy China cups! He also likes cats! Please be sure to ask him (PM him this could be embarrassing) about his Victoria Secret purchase this weekend.

Mary and I had a great time. She is just amazed at how many people knew me at the show.

I am still the only one who started out with 2 non running/driving cars and still have them. Everybody else took apart running cars/trucks.
