Ed- what market was your van built for? California? Canada? 48 State federal? You must have an extraordinarily rare 87 slant powered vehicle to not have a feedback carb. In any event, you are right, Eggman needs to get the ESA working ASAP. |

The ESA is hooked up.When I originally posted this I mentioned it being unhooked only because I unhooked it on the side of the road.As stated I don't know if the timing advances under load only but it does not advance when I rev it with a timing light on it.As far as the non feedback carb goes,there is no reason to believe it was swapped out for there is no wiring plug and it is not on any of the schematics under the hood.And oh yea the transducer holds vac. |

BTW,thanks for your input.There were some good things to checkout.I still plan on "Hot Rodding"my truck,but am waiting till I can do some head work and a cam change.Anyone ever use a Comp 260H in their slant? |
