My daily driver is a 99 Lincoln Town car, which is the exact same car as the Crown Victoria, but with fancier upholstery. It handles OK for what it is, but it is nothing to write home about. I am sure that part of the handling is the front and rear sway bars that you won't be able to transfer to the F body.

You would be better served spending your effort removing the big block and installing a built small block or, better yet, a slant.

I appreciate your inputs gents. In my case, I've owned my F body since it came off of the showroom floor (1977). Even when it was new, the front suspension was a "nice" ride, but soft. Now, almlost 40 years later with a big block in it, it's not so nice. I figured the suspension was due for some upgrades. What's available now is much better than what was available then. As i said, I looked at the Crown Vic... hard... too wide. I also looked at the Supra IFS and Lexus IFS. Those two units can actually be made to fit. Don't let me forget the bolt in Alterktion IFS. Very expensive but pretty good. I went with an aftermarket crossmember from Industrial Chassis for a Ford F100 truck. My choice.

Anyway, so no thread creep, the Crown Vic is too wide.
