Tell me about it, I had my 60 Plymouth out on Thursday night for a 'Cruise Night', and by the time I brought it home, I had to run the Duster over the entire car. Thank g-d I don't suffer from any allergies to that green slim  The good news, didn't win any more Burglar Bashers (a.k.a. Trophies)  Um, a bit of cash would be preferred though

 Any other 'Slant-Sixers' going to the Edison 1st Aid Squad #2' 'Car Show' tomorrow on New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ?Also, any NJ 'Slant-Sixers' who might be able to make the Metuchen NJ 'Cruise Night' on May 7th, give me a holler  |

Well since i missed the sunday gtg i'm shooting for the 7th! There was a crime scene investigation when i tried to make it in from grove, then went around the other way thru wood and the cop told me they were shutting down so i just turned around and left, i could not make it earlier and i guess i got there a bit late.. I'm planning on making it wed night, hope the weather holds, my cars were covered with this green and yellow crap... my nose was running as i was washing my cars... i must have gone thru a box of tissues  spring is half way gone so i won't suffer too much longer.. Hope the weather holds as we are supposed to get rain all week.. |

 Yeah, some ditzy young girl, new driver at that, on a cell phone while driving, suddenly noticed she was about to hit a Telephone Poll, so she swerved, and hit a young child instead . We wondered why we saw a lot of commotion out by the road, that is until one of our friends came back from that area, and told us what had just happened. The kid was hurt pretty bad, and had to be taken out via Medi-Vac Helicopter. I just hope he survived, and recovers fully.As far as Metuchen on Wednesday is concerned, well, hope that 'Weather.com' is right. Their forecast shows 'partly cloudy', with only a 20% chance of any precipitation |

I hope the weather holds up also.. i'm looking forward to these events. I just saw another poster for a gtg, woodbridge volunteer squad, may 17th i believe, do you know anything about this one? Where do you normally check for local events other than here? Well hope to make this one tomorrow

Hi Ben, yesterday was a great afternoon. I had a great time and the weather was just beautiful. It was nice to meet you and to see all the nice cars that came out. I'm looking forward to the next one, i have looked at your calendar it will be a nice packed spring and summer with all the shows.Talk to you later. |
