The easiest way to go fast would be a power adder but it all depends on what you want (NA, Boosted, Spray)

The highest compression I have ever run is 11.5-1ish.
You are good into the low 12:1SCR if you use a victor reinz head gasket or for best insurance you use the aussie head gasket, at that point you will need to confirm where the fire ring lands on the deck and chamber location to insure proper sealing, anything off and it will pop.

Mike's heads always win money at the track so are worth the $$$ and the wait.

One build you have to look at for running alcohol would be Dave Mueller's car, but it is purpose built.

The idea is purpose built for drag racing, no street driving

The good thing about having to wait till next year it gives me all season to formulate a plan!

I just spoke to Mike a week or so ago, and he told me that he would definitely go with a big bore (.104 over Weisco's) to help his head work better on my car. I can see no reason to give up all those cubic inches on a race car, unless your Charlie "the wild Man" Schmid!

There was an old book published a couple of decades back about British car heads and porting that had an interesting section on pressure testing results on the flow characteristics of certain "restrictive" heads and shrouded valves due to the design and bore size...

In one case they bench tested the head at moderate vacuum and found that each .1" the valve edge was away from the bore edge they suddenly got a big jump in flow...ultimately to the point that if the valve was in the middle of the bore the poor 4 cylinder port would flow like a ford cleveland head....

So I take that nugget to mean that if you can really over bore to unshroud the O/S head, it will allow for the porting to do it's job....

Good nugget of knowledge....time to sonic a pile of blocks for the best basis engine...
