Never did. I like Doc's approach. Rear is not in car yet. I'm interested in your success story to come. 8)

I used a putty knife. It went easy once I located a bit of a crack.

Used my cherry picker to lift the whole unit with a choker around the third member yoke, chained the housing legs to the cp legs put some pressure on the choker with the hoist and went to work with a block of oak and hammer.
Came loose with no damage to me or parts.
