So ive bought new nuts and have wire wheeled all the triangles but are the two end nuts just lock nuts? They look like castle nuts but im thinking they are some kind of lock nuts. Whats ghe word?

Those acorn type nuts at the ends are brass (with splits) and you can buy them from McMaster Carr.

Below is a link to a similar discussion, and if you can wait, I'll look to see what the exact part number for the McMaster Carr nuts are and I'll post. You seat the split side of the brass nut into the cupped shaped portion of the round brass washers and as you tighten the splits compress to hold the assembly in place without over torqueing (so the manifold assembly can move).

They are not brass, the ones that hold down the triangles are brass.

The nuts from McMaster are these ones:

They are cadmium plated steel.

You can also get brass nuts that hold the triangles down at McMaster Carr...OK, they sell just about anything you can think of in the fastener area....
