looking forward to the races at the I-40 Dragway.

My wife Miriam had expressed an interest in attending some of the slant six race events,, meet the folks,, see the cars...so she is also coming.

We have some local friends,, Marvin and Jeanette,, who, like my wife have seen what I did with the D150,, heard me speak of the slant six group,, they to expressed an interest, so they will also attend.

We have a cabin reserved at Cumberland Mountain Park,,
, should be a fun weekend.

Really looking forward to seeing ya'll next month. The cabin at the park are really nice. I have stayed there a couple times on church retreats. Really looking forward to meeting your wife.

Coming up I-75 from Florida. What is the best what to get to the track? I-75 to I-40 or one of the other highways out of the Chattanooga area? Looks like I-75 to I-40 is about 50 miles further, but remember I will be towing with my Toyota, and would prefer not to use 2 lane roads with steep/long grades.

Charlie I have been to cross vile both ways and towing I prefer going to the i75/i40 split and take i40 into crossbills. It is longer but can make better time and not as steep.

Thanks, Norm. That's kind of what I thought looking at the map. That's why I asked. What is the exit to get off I-40?

Pulled the old 225 engine from the Valiant. Hope to have the 170 in, and some rewiring done this week. Darn, I want a 7 sec run.

Looks like I will be able to make it down to crossville. I am not sure if Whitney and the baby will be coming but I should be there anyway. I will be bringing some sort of /6 street car or truck. I'm not sure which one yet but you can add me to the list for racing anyway.
