I spoke with Charlie Schmid last night and he is pushing to get everything on a new motor he is putting together. If everythuing works out he is going to try and make it. I also just got off the phone with Justin Ledden, the rookie winner from the spring race, and he is going to try and come out also. We will have 2 Rookies here who both won the first races that they entered. One of them may go home as the East coast Rookie of the Year. Things are shaping up nicely. I sure hope 3 or 4 of the top contenders can make the trip! Sure is an exciting end to the season. Somewhere around my house I have lost my phone list of all of my Slant 6 contacts. I was wanting to call Ken Anderson who usually comes to our races, but I don't have his number. If anyone out there has it please drop me a PM. Just call me big Dummy! Rick

Still working on being there. Old engine is out of the Valiant, stripped to the short block. Older engine has new cam, and waiting to get the head/intake/exhaust from the removed engine. Still trying. |
