I actually like to replace the fluid when doing a total brake job like that, so I just dump the caliper in a bucket, push the brake pedal and pop it out, then block up the brake pedal, and pull the hose and assembly.


There are many ways to get there from here...way too many ways...

Just for those who don't know, you are never supposed to hone caliper piston bores with anything other than a caliper piston hone. A regular wheel cylinder hone has stones that are way, WAY too coarse for caliper bores.
