With the Holset, if you do find yourself running high drive pressure it is relatively easy and inexpensive to change out the turbine housing and/or wheel. There are a lot of tunability options that won't break the bank.
i know. im running the 12cm housing now. it already takes a little longer then i would like to spool. hoping i get a chance to take advantage of the divided housing. i need to build a header. other than that im really happy with it.

Could always look at adding a quick spool valve since we have the divided housing. I'm thinking about looking at local shops to see if they would swap an hx30 for the 35.

everything ive read on the holsets say that they are in their efficiency range right up to 37psi. i understand its not about psi and is about efficiency. or.

Who are you getting that info from??

They are fun turbos I'm just saying keep it where its happy
And if you want more power there are 60mm and 63mm compressor wheel upgrades.
Don't bother with turbine wheel upgrades that's what the WG is for

You know what turbo I'm running now... it's only a matter of time.
Till you go bigger or it explodes?
Most likely till it seizes like Jr's did.

the turbo forums and various searches on the holsets. the import guys running them on their 4cyl are getting close to 40 out of them without getting crazy iat's.

im gonna stick with the stock setup for a while. im really hoping and believing that a split header will take care of most of the lag. pretty sure i can get more power out of this setup then the motor can hold so i should be good for a while.

If you want to speed up the spooling swap out the turbine housing for a 9cm housing from a HY35.
