Did a visual: The 76 Dart has the side clip where the flasher can clips in head-first to the 3" bracket welded to the dashboard lower surface, left of the steering column. The 75 Valient dashboard that I looked at had everything the same, EXCEPT the clip is not there, but does have the small square hole where the clip would be, or the plastic flasher's "split square barb" as Dan described. (By the way, the 76 dash that I was viewing was harvested from the late "Louise 76", R.I.P..) |

Remember there are two flashers: the 4-way hazard flasher and the turn signal flasher. Fancy cars also have the ignition switch light delay timer which looks like a smaller/taller flasher. |
