Grand Cherokees from 94 through about 200 is what I understand. You will have to enlarge the center register of the Grand Cherokee disc hard parts a little bit to fit over the end of the axle. I bought all the parts brand new (emergency kit and brake shoes, rotors, calipers, hoses, etc for my 8.25 disc swap. I am in no hurry on this as I still need to install all the bearing races and axle end bearings and seals and get the 3.21 SG set up. This is for a 73 A Body 8.25 rear end. As long as the truck rear end is about the same/similar, it should be doable! There's a couple of threads over at FABO outlining this swap as well as the original over at one of the M Body forums (harley or Farley page or something to that effect). You can drop me a PM and I can send a few pics of what I've done so far. |

A company called Street Rod Manufacturing makes adapters and disks for Mopar rears (Ford and Chevy too). It is out west somewhere. www.tsmmfg.com Lou and I have both used their kits with success. I actually have an excess set of adapters for a Mopar 8 1/4" I will sell if you want. The caliper adapter then mounts to that bracket. TSM will sell individual parts. They use GM calipers for 80's Monte Carlos etc. Sam |
