aluminum cookware must have been the ticket back in the day,my mom had a set of 'Guardian Service' heavy cast aluminum pots, skillets, roaster, ,,,, when she passed all the kids got a piece or two,, not sure how these pieces were treated, they are a natural color semi bright aluminum,,saw a lot of use,, no smudging or aluminum tarnish ever. for the fun of it, googed Guardian Service cookware found this site, it has recommendations on cleaning aluminum cookware http://hcprobate.homestead.com/guardian.html |
