I believe now that I will bring my car after all. it is purdier that the truck. :lol: :lol:

I will probably try and run the bracket class as well. Will we have any trouble running both? Never done that before. How many bracket classes are there? I don't see them on their web site or the payout?

That is great Rick and I am really glad you asked about the bracket races. I checked the calendar for more details and found I made a mistake on the Saturday racing card. It appears that there is no bracket racing just the slant six, 6.0 and 7.0 heads up races according to the track schedule. I apologize for the error. I'm so used to having bracket races every time we are at Wilkesboro I just assumed but wrong this time. I have a call into Phil to confirm so when I find out for sure I will post it.

So is there bracket racing friday? It says "shake down" and I don't know what that is. :lol: :lol:

And what time do they open the gates? I know we are to be there by 5:00 pm but I want to be there and ready to go a little early.

PS. As usual the Covalt's are in the middle of a clutch change / rear main seal change in Ryan's blue truck that he wants to bring!

Rick its my understanding that Friday night shakedown is for testing for a special group of cars that will run on Saturday such as 6.0 and 7.0 heads up races. He is going to let us run our first race on this shakedown Friday.
I'm glad to hear Ryan is bringing his truck.

There will be bracket racing Saturday for anyone that wants to enter their class. The payout depends on car count. The classes are Top ET (electronics,) Modified ET (footbrake), and Street.
