Another point against it would be having it annoy others in the car.
Mine doesn't "pass gas"
when running, as the air flow inside the shunt is to the carb. It only builds up when it's stopped with the engine off, and then only on hot days with the windows closed, and the cabin heated up. However, even though it evacuates quickly upon opening and/or operating, it's noticeable for some seconds initially. This'd make it unacceptable for many.
I once had a bud ask about the possibility of it reaching ignition point capability. I had to chuckle at the thought of that level of saturation.
Technically conceivable, I suppose. Likely in this existence?
Maybe on Mythbusters at frustration level ......with an aftermarket aluminum head.
