I made the forum aware of the valve cover and 904 pan gaskets from Real Gasket Tennessee in 2011, and I have used them for almost 5 years now, and never had a leak. The valve cover gasket has been used on stock and chromed (china) covers, and have been off a number of times, the trans pan gasket has been off a couple of times. I think the new reinforced valve cover gaskets may be an improvement over the previous when it comes to stiffness and subsequent ease of installation, but I have not yet needed to buy a new one.
