Looking at the actual slot lengths I think that they have mismarked the plate slots...9r govenor is .387, and the 16 slot is .393...but should be marked "18" to be correct....

Luckily I was able to spool this up so our board members can save a step in chosing their slot saving some trial and error...

...and 1 hour ago I got my engine block buttoned up... OCG cam with 109 LSA intake lobe centerline at 102, I even drilled out 3 busted studs and still got the head mounted.... 12.18 SCR with a 9.23 DCR... maybe tomorrow I can get it dropped back into the duster...

Thanks X2 for testing this. My biggest concern was that the slot lengths didn't correspond with numbers from our forum posts. Not certain why the FBO numbers deviate. Anyway, it's nice to have an alternative to welding and grinding. And, it is fantastic that we have members here that will go the extra mile for the rest of us.
Cheers to DusterIdiot (clearly not his real name) :D

Ryan and I just installed his plate last night in the duster. We set it on the 18 degree slot. I put initial at 10 timing and we had exactly 28 degrees total. Just what it should have read. Plus if it was off a degree one way or the other I don't see that as a big deal. If it would have been 27 or 29 we would have just played with the initial a bit. All in all we were very pleased with it.

At what RPM was that final read at? and what kind of springs are in your recurve?

DI this is one of the Distributors you did for me for Ryan's Dart a couple years back. All mechanical was in by 26-2800 if I remember correctly. Definitely no change after 3000 RPM
