Wilkesboro update: Friday gates officially open at 5:30 and testing starts around 6:00. If anyone arrives earlier Phil said no problem go on in and park.

Saturday gates will open at 2:00 test runs/qualifying around 4:00, and racing to begin around 6:00.

Entry fee to race is $20.00 each day. Pay at the gate.

Arrive Saturday morning for our car show around 9:00-10:00 AM at TIM HARROLDS EMPIRE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM. We will have food and drinks at the dealership and later at the track.

Phil is updating the website to include the Slant 6 Race and putting it on his flyer as well.

Hope I didn't leave anything out. Look forward to seeing everyone Friday.

Yeah I was up working on the car here to day and the heat index is over 110. I don't like Summer! At least at Wilkesboro, we can get some shade.

I will not be attending Wilkesboro,,, goof on the pinion nut torque after the rear gear change on the D150,,
I should have everything back together this week, but I need to get miles on the re install prior to taking off on a cross country tow,,,

The updated car count for Wilkesboro is 13 confirmed and 7 others that may be here. 13 is good, and 20 would be awesome!!!! Slant 6 racing is alive and well! Thanks to all!

Mike, Phil said we are welcome to camp at the track. You can come in early on Friday if you want, but the regular gate time will be posted as 5:30. Glad you can be here. It looks like we are going to have the best car count we have had in quite a while.

Looks like we are running early on Sat. Track website says slant six at 12:00 noon.
