Good to hear y'all had fun at Barber. I assume the collapsible steering column passed inspection just fine? Jason and I were sending emails back and forth about it, but I haven't started the work on my Dart yet. I hope you guys make it to the Corvette Museum track in July. Looking forward to racing against that car again. |

Frank, They were fine with the column. We need to align it better as it is attached at 3 points (box plus 2 heim bearings) so there is bit of drag/bind. We are a "likely" for the KY race. Would be great to be on track with you and the Dart again... Lou |

Hey Lou, It's a long shot, but if I'm back to Fort Knox by then I'll come cheer you on and/or lend a hand if needed. The Arizona D Bags race in early April is just 10 miles from my family there. I didn't know they built a cool road course there. Pretty cool. |

Hi Dave, Here is the part: http://store.24hoursoflemons.com/produc ... 0sp122.htm We got the tall one, which took more to mount, but I was worried about slosh on long sweeper turns or accel/decal, and fitting it between the rails. Built 5" tall stands and 1" box tubing crossbars to hang it. Will have to ask Jason Ernst for pics of it in the car... Lou |
