Last year, for some reason, I googled their part number. A return showed that the Chicago Connection had a set in stock. I thought it was a mistake, but called them. Surprise, they really had a set in stock. Shipping on them is fairly expensive (very large box), and they offered to hold them for me, till I could make arrangements to get them hand delivered through "slant six shipping network". One of the owners, even offered to bring them to Florida, himself, in Feb. Thanks to Slantzilla, and Dadtruck, for getting them to me.

PS: They still show a set on their website, if anyone is interested. Might be the set I bought, and wasn't removed, but might be another set.

Got my new AEM wide band UEGO, yesterday. Will try to get it on my truck, this weekend, if it warms up. Hopefully, I can tune some fuel mileage into this thing. Boy I sure miss my Toyota PU. 8.6 MPG sucks.

Gerk!

Yeah, that is pretty bad. We need to start a "Go Fund Me" campaign to get Charlie to and from Clay City in September.

Unable to get any work done over the weekend. Wife wound up back in the hospital, with uncontrolled blood sugar and congestive heart failure.
I did manage to get the 4.56 rear into the 66 Valiant, yesterday and today. Also got the rear springs installed in the 65 Valiant and the 3.91 rear sitting under the car.

Hey Charlie,

I'm so sorry to hear about Peg. Please keep us posted and hang in there.

They discharged Peg, yesterday. Had to take her back to the ER today. Admitted, again.

Charlie,

I am so sorry to hear about Peg's health issues. Please accept my warmest wishes for her healing, and give her (and yourself) a hug from me. Christine and I are thinking about you both.

Lou

Thanks, folks. This really belongs in the social corner, but it does affect what/when I get done on the cars.

Got the 3.91 spool 8 3/4 rear that was removed from the 66 Valiant, installed in the 65 Valiant. Now it is a rolling shell, again. Then to the hospital, for a visit, with the wife.

65Valiant is now out of the carport, and down at the garage. First order of business, is to clean out the inside, and get the driver door operating along with all the windows. Also need to find the keys, which I have not had in my hand for about 10 years. :(

They are laying right beside the 1/2" socket that I always am looking for!

Hey, I've got your socket. You got my keys? I'll trade.
