We will be attending the race. Won't be racing the red Dart because I can't reach the shifter due to my shoulder surgery. Most likely sitting this one out.

Still not looking good for me to have a car ready in time. Every time I make some progress, I find more to fix! Questions for racing: Assuming it is required, what are y'all using for catch cans/overflow tanks? Can I run antifreeze or water only in the radiator? Thanks! burg |

You must have a catch can of some sort. It can be a plastic bottle or oil can or whatever, but it has to have one. They do not check your radiator contents, so anti freeze is fine. Rick |

Any old bottle for a catch can, zip tied to the rad support or fender apron. I used coke/Gatorade bottles for years, and still sometimes do. Now I have fancier ones since I have GM-style alum rads that sit lower down, but those are not needed. Water is technically required, but as long as you don't spill, they won't check or care! Lou |

Gatorade bottle is best. They do not deform with hot coolant. Water bottles will scrunch up. Greg |
