We will be there on Friday if I can get the car to crank. Went out to fire it up sitting on the trailer and it want fire. Will check on it tomorrow after work ,it must be electrical because starter spins fine and carb is getting gas. Hope just a fuse or something easy to fix. |

Busted rotor button and bad cap also ventures in carb leaking. Got everything fixed car sounds good but no time for shakedown before we leave tomorrow. See everyone Friday evening. Norm |

I haven't run the Duster other than checking for fuel leaks with the new cell and filters either Norm. The car is still on jack stands with a few little things to finish before loading up and heading out in the morning. It's about an 8 hour drive, so I doubt we will be there before 5:00. |

Well the adventures continue. Just got back home after leaving for Wilkesboro. Only got about 30 miles up the road to Cleveland, Tn ready to get on I75 hit the brakes and pedal goes to the floor and brake light comes on. Checked wheels and for fluid so looks like master cylinder is bad. Drove all the way home with no brakes pulling race car which was a challenge and a few people went around me mad and threw a few fingers out of socket. Will put in repair shop at 8 am in the morning and hope to get it repaired quickly so we can try to do this again. If can’t get it fixed early I may hook up truck and come on and tent camp. Hope to get there by 5. Norm |
