Good luck!, and the WRP Website says there is a test n tune on thursday the 18th....fyi.

I would love to come, but don't have a suitable vehicle.

Hmmm,... I'm heading up Thursday to pick up that rusty '61 Valiant parts car...

So,... If the T&T is on Thursday for a Fri-Sat race... Any record runs should be considered the same as a Friday T&T for a Sat-Sun race, right...?

(Not that I would consider running nitrous Thursday, not having tested anything yet. Just asking. )





Or.... Have Rob and Adam been secretly working on the Challenger preparing for a Wilkesboro reveal....? :twisted:

My stance is that this t'n't is part of the weekend of racing (consecutive nights), so records should be allowed Thursday. Anyone else have opinions on this?

Sounds good to me I will be leaving Thursday morning was going to stop about half way and spend the night but I will drive straight through to practice on Thursday night.

I think one year I set one of my records on Thur night at Wilkesborro. Even, if I did not, I think the rules state That any runs at a slant six race weekend, at the same track can count towards a record.

(disregard if it would affect one of my records :shock: :shock: :shock: )

Yes, in my opinion they would count. The day before the race or the day after. Since we race Friday and Saturday. Thursday and Sunday qualify. Go for it!!! :D :D

Go for it folks. I have held my records for quite a while, and they are not that great. Not too bad for what I have in my cars, but still easily beaten, if someone makes an effort. I really don't see why The "D" Nitrous record couldn't be a low 7 in the 1/8 or low 12 in the 1/4 especially with a 170 in a 2700 car.

You guys stay cool, and set some records.

I think I have seen or heard it all now. Mason Dixon cancelled this weekend because it was too hot. :shock:

Norm, both Jacks and I had fun running nitrous at testing tonight. Nothing broke and we all set or re-set nitrous records!

Jack III re-set Ryan’s D with a low 10.

Jack Jr. set the open B with a 10 something. I bettered that with a 8.96 and Norm bettered it still with a 8.20 something.

Yes, we all made 1% backup runs as well. :wink:

That little 25 HP shot wasn’t as scary as I thought. It dropped my ET from 9.14 to 8.96 hitting the button after I shifted to 2nd.

The other guys are all running 100 HP shots.

Y’all git out here tomorrow and race with us!! :D
