Sorry to hear that, Ron. I hope all is well and you enjoy a little break. I am going to test'n'tune at Motormile Dragway tonight with the White 62 Valiant. Hope to cut some decent lights and get to know the car on track before Knoxville next weekend! Lou |

Gary just called with the race information. Friday gates open at 6:00 and racing starts at 7:00. Saturday gates open at 2:00 and they will run our class up front, so don’t dawdle y’all! Entry fee per race is $30. Don’t know about payout yet. They will try to let us run the VA make up race as well. The track was having trouble putting a program together. As of Thursday we will be paired up with some diesel truck racers. Lots of 6 Bangers!!

I got word last night that a couple of my youngins wanna come with me. So, I'm gonna whoop up on Isaiah in our little heads up grudge match & then turn it over to them to play with for the rest of the weekend.

Loaded the Duster on the trailer and had lunch with Big Mike, Chaseroo and Weejword... That would be Michael, Chase and CJ Simmons, three of my four sons. Mike works evenings and often weekends, so my favorite Crew Chief can't make it to test & tune tonight or to the Knoxville race. Chase and CJ will be filling in.

Rob if slicks get here in time to mount and balance I will Come up Saturday morning with car and all your parts. If they don’t get here in time I will load everything in my truck and bring to you on Friday evening. |
