The '61 and back 3 onda tree transmissions were non-synchroed. I wonder if this 3 onda tee was synchromeshed.
First gear was not synchronised until the A-230 transmission came along in 1970. Second and third are synchronised on the earlier A-903 standard-duty and A-745 heavy-duty 3-speed manual transmissions, including the A-903 under your '61.

Why does it have drool tubes?
Because those didn't go away until '75.

I know the Alternator is probably the high end version.
The alternator is almost certainly not the one that was put on at the factory, but even if so, it's nothing particularly special—it's not the Leece-Neville heavy-duty item or anything; at most it was originally just a plain ol' 46-amp Chrysler unit.

What's that round thing hovering above the steering coupler?

Looks like it's in the factory routed fuel line. Pressure regulator?

Just wondering about the gas pedal assembly. If cable operated, it might be useful for some one installing a super six set up.

Bellhousing reminds me of the D-100 3 speed bellhousings after 1964/5 that weren't the big monsters like the NP235/435 from the Earlier 60's.

Neat part, would have the high tooth count flywheel and the need for the direct drive starter...this unit might barely fit into a 67+ A/F body
with massaging. Am wondering if the IBR hole is for the 4.135 IBR or the more common 4.8 IBR... if it has dual pattern on it the A-833 would
make a nice upgrade.
