Hi! I recently ordered a set of Ishihara-Johnson crank scrapers, specifically for a 198 crank. Spoke to Kevin Johnson. He's a very pleasant fellow, and he was kind enough to clarify some details for the newbie (that's me). I digress. I came here to say that I may want one, if it's compatible with these: https://www.crank-scrapers.com/Chrysler_slant_six.html |

I have and older style metal scraper one side only on my race car with a windage tray as well. I see no reason the 2 can't interact well together.. The scraper(s) sit on the bottom edge of the block whilst the windage trays bolt to the mains. Greg |

Ok, it looks like I will be doing a run of these tray. I counted 18 including 2 for myself and the folks that said possibly or possibly 2. I will get a firm price for everyone probably by the end of the week. Likely will do 20 total unless more people speak up. More to come. RC |

I have the "raw" materials in hand. Plan to get the trays ready for the fab guy. First batch of trays will likely be done next week, but the bolts have not arrived and it will be a couple weeks after that until they are ready to ship. I made 2 extras so I should have one for you vitamindart |

I'm a little late to the discussion...is this design like the old Direct Connection part, or a design that is improved somehow? |

Well, the old DC part would not fit a 66-down oilpan. This one does, and probably will fit any Slant 6 pan. Lou |

Pictures above show it. It does have more coverage than the old one. Lou, I had the DC one in a 64 Valiant years ago without any problems. |
