Yes, that is essentially it. It worked surprisingly well. Only thing is the Kerf (curf) is further down the filler tube.
I have a filler tube I can modify and create a how to for the site here. I need to get the dimensions of the pump nozzle again since I did this many years ago and I don’t remember the exact dimensions, and they have likely changed with the new style nozzles. Also, California may have a different kind of nozzle, so bring some calipers to the gas station and check your local gas pump.
