After getting back, I found the old computer that had my Gtech runs on it, including that one... it was 4000 rpm, but got to 4200 before the run drops due to applied brakes.So you are spot on. The simple HP calculator (no wind, centripetal calcs for tires, etc...) says a Duster with 150hp will top out about 130 mph, 196 hp will top out about 150, 215 a bit more than that...( so approx. 9:1 4 barrel RV cam, 10:1 Lou build 3/4 cam, and 11-12:1 engine...) |
