Does that mean that all or virtually all 1960 valiants were 170's??

My understanding was only 170 engines till sometime in 1961. The 225 was in mid size Dodges and Plymouths only at the start of production.

Just to ad to the intake posting, here are a few more photos.
I think Dan said there were 7 companies producing intakes.
I have an early one, cast 08 30 59 with part number 1947164.
A second one with no date but casting number 2121675 and ALCAN, Aluminum Company of Canada.
These have 2 different style thru bolt to exhaust manifold bosses.

I used to have dozens of Slant pictures Seymour gave me years ago. I can't remember what I did with them. I may have given some of them to Rob?

Nice that I up-loaded a lot of SL6 photos onto the web seeing that all my prints and negatives are now ashes...

As for the future of SL6 racing... hard to say what will happen as we go forward.
It would be great to somehow consolidate and document where we have been because there have been a lot of great people and nice SL6 cars over the years.

Thanks for the great "where we've been" pics, folks. Lovely memories.

Here's an upcoming project for a long mile street/strip car... Look for it in mid-late 2021. Extra points if you can identify the air filter element OEM app...
