I saw the preliminary flyer. There are 3 bracket classes: Street tire, Hot Rod N/A, and Hot Rod Power adder. 2 Heads-up classes: Super 6 for the fastest 6 cars and Grudge for anyone who wants to match race a buddy.

There is also a car show and swap meet.

To avoid any confusion, this is NOT a points race.

What a great flyer and even a special guest!
Fantastic!! I am rejoining AHRA!
Any chance it's a points race?

Jeffers Race would be a week before clay city.

back to back races (points races) would need to be discussed at the banquet.

That's up to you guys.

I sent the flyer to Rob. Hopefully he can post it. My 10 year old puter at home died.

Sorry. I’ve been pretty busy here in sunny Tucson.

Who is the catalyst behind the Jeffers event? Is it someone that races with us or is it just something they decided to do on their own.

It is a collaboration between Uncle Tony, Dallas Brown, (owner of the resurrected AHRA) and a guy who works for a cam company who is building a Slant car. I have no association with it other than being friends with Dallas and his Dad for almost 40 years. It is not being tied to the Slant racers in any way.

Dallas seems to be the one footing the bills. He is holding it at Jeffers because it is one of the tracks he sanctions. I have warned him he is taking a big bite trying 5 classes. Bottom line is he's trying a Slant only race where we will be the only cars on the property instead of part of a bigger show. He's also hoping Uncle Tony will be a huge draw for the fans.

Well he is showing lots of enthusiasm! And I wish he was closer! It would be nice it it had a great turnout!

Dallas was pretty shocked when I told him (and Rob did too) that our biggest turnout ever was 37. It's been drawing a fair amount of interest on Facebook. Time will tell.

I've been hyping those green guys a lot to Dallas.

Shocked at how many, or how few?
