Within a week, the mechanical fuel pump will be replaced, and we'll have another go at Her.
Ok, so its been a few days since April. Yes, she's still a green meanie.

Back hurt, life happened, yall know the drill; so instead of replacing the mechanical fuel pump, I decided to clean the carpet, since that is obviously less work and clearly less torsion on Her and me. This includes removing the seats, and unsticking the doors/windows. Before you ask, yes, its a knotted sock spanning both bolt holes to the body to keep any more giant spiders from entering. Never found that som[CENSORED], but im sure hes still lurkin'.
I paid for the flamethrower, I'm gonna use the whole flamethrower

The big holdup, was whatever this white chalky material was. Totally not like play-doh, and even more disappointing than my childhood.

After removing and flushing both the entire coolant system (blockside), and radiation (hoses too), it actually came out fairly nice (considering 40+ years of rust in a non-saline environment, down south).

It may have taken 8 months, but it was a success! Only like 3-5 bolts/screws to remove the Coil and mounting bracket.

The Lacuna, just above the bolt is a perpendicular screw which should only be accessible from the left (distributor) side. The prior owner seemed to be savvy, and mounted the coil bracket inverted, making it insanely easier to access said screw. This is evident from the coupling itself, as the square "nut holder" tee-hee is only on one side.

Looks good, no? Bonus points for calling me out on what ISNT connected in this.

Looks good. It will probably run better once you hook up that plug wire and vacuum advance hose.

:D
