WOW, that is a serious crack, I wonder what caused that?
Could you see any other damage, like a frozen water cracks?

Yikes. Might still be able to sleeve it... BTW, Will Burns got an alum engine from me that had multiple cylinders that looked like that and he said he could fix it.

If I had that in my shop I would certainly put a liner in it. I and many others have very successfully put sleeves in blocks far worse off than that one. Hope you didnt give up on it!
