Go figure! the gasketed style of glass usually didnt need any kind of additional sealer. most that I have swapped out, have bene solid glass for sliders in pickup trucks. |

I think a lot of it has to do with how clean (new Paint) or rough/rusty the flange is where the new gasket is going back into. |
