Would be interesting to see if it's getting any crank whipping/foaming due to excess oil volume? Probably not, but sometimes I wander - wonder.

The Valiant was easy to drive through the autoX course and was nice over the road. Autoxers loved it. 3200 RPM at 75 MPH and not too loud. One bummer is that I blew another QuadSpark channel and had to drive home without cylinders 2 and 5. I need to figure this out... I also need to weigh the car with the alum engine and GV OD. Got the dipstick to work and played with a few other things this weekend and early this morn. Man, 8.75" qts came out, not including the filter. Hey, no leaks and it ran fine! Found the spare Quadspark so will install that soon, and I ordered another spare... Lou |

I'm sure there was crank whipping, but nothing I could smell/see/hear. Should have checked oil when got home, but forgot. Looked normal coming out. Lou |
