Hi Volerdon I didn't want to play around too much this time around. When the time comes, I'll take it off the block. My last slant was 11:1 with 46cc chambers and I had to control ping with water meth injection over 4k, was originally set up for propane (lpg). 11:1 is great. I'd like to get close to 10 static CR with water injection , emphasis on torque and fuel economy. Hay BUCKET 636 if that's a pic of your old car, that's what it looks like now (above), new paint, interior and stainless. The skull on the bonnet now lives in the glove box! What I'd like to see is a series on welding a **small** quench pad that I'd use with dished zero deck pistons. |

That technology has been around for quite a while and used by many to repair as well as modify cast iron heads, and has really seen advances in recent years. Creating a quench style chamber is only going to improve the engine performance. I posted a 3D model some years back for a prototype Slant chamber I was considering to incorporate in an aluminum head I was toying around with. |
