It's my experience that Indy is really hard to work with.

Columbus is now owned by the IHRA. The new IHRA seems to be very racer friendly, maybe something there is possible.

US 41 will work with me I think, but that's getting pretty far west for you Easterners. :D

Clay City is always a good choice.

Stan, I also did not know about the Kendalls. I have noticed Jeff is not on FB as much as he used to be.

Good luck finding more Slant cars. 2/3 of the Slant cars within 200 miles of me are in my shop.

I had a guy a few years ago telling me he was building an altered with a 700 horsepower blown Slant in it. It's never materialized.

Thanks, Stan. There is some modest chance I can make it this year.

Mandi, Jen, an I would be interested in something if not too far...we are located 30 miles north of Philadelphia...Ohio or Kentucky would be the furthest at this point...
1/4" mile of course.

Agreed. I'm still game to give it a go, though...

I talked to Jack Everhardt just to see how he was doing and told him we may have a nice "national race" somewhere, possibly Clay City and he said he would likely try to come to that. He said he would talk to Gary B. too! I already did! Gary said he can't find any good blocks! So if you have one in Knoxville, take it over and drop it off at his house! :D :D

I'll reach out to Kentucky Dragway to see what their schedule looks like for 2026.

Thanks, Rob! I'm game to help with that. Let me know if/what your first call brings.

I am thinking late June or maybe Sept? Should I post a poll with some sample dates here?

Cheers,
Lou
